I joined the Institute for Politics and Society as an intern for one month in February 2020. I have been graduated from a Master degree in Sustainable Management. Thus working with the Institute was an opportunity to discover the insight of Think Tank area to develop my skills for future job research. I would like to highlight that the tasks that are offered to interns are linked as much as possible to their field and personal interests.

Therefore, I have been working in cooperation with another intern on a topic related to sustainability. I prepared expert analyzes on issues of domestic and foreign policy for policy paper. I also provided and analyzed data for the Think Tank usual business as well as data for strategic development of the Think Tank.

At the same time I also cooperated in setting up a conference with the project manager, and produced article for the Blog and public post-event report. Moreover, I had the chance to participate to a conference, with European representative’s speakers and experts, on subject that I was interested in even if it was not linked to my field. It was a great opportunity to learn more on different current issues.

I really did appreciate to always have a feedback regarding my work, which is really useful to develop skills. I also liked that fact that the IPS team trust their interns to place the responsibility on them for both crucial and basic tasks.

The team of the Institute is really friendly, available and is used to welcome foreign interns, which is helpful regarding the administrative part as well as it ensures a good environment to work in. To sum up, this internship allowed me to have a great insight on Think Tank field while developing my skills to reach my career objective. It was a great experience.
