Ondřej Knotek
Ondřej Knotek is a Czech politician, Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for the ANO movement, and an industrial manager. He studied chemical engineering at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague and subsequently worked as a criminal investigator and quality manager in the industry. Since 2019, he has been a Member of the European Parliament, successfully securing re-election in 2024. In the past, he was a member of the Pirate Party but has been affiliated with the ANO movement since 2015.
In municipal politics, he served as a councilor and a member of the town board in Mariánské Lázně, where he has lived since childhood. Since 2024, he has also been a councilor of the Karlovy Vary Region. He was a member of the supervisory board of the local hospital and actively engages in regional matters. In his free time, he enjoys sports, particularly running, swimming, and snowboarding, as well as music – he plays drums in a band called Chain Reaction.
Knotek is known for his commitment to industrial production quality and his advocacy for European cooperation. He has long supported cultural and sports activities at the regional level.
